GO GET YOUR LIFE BACK! That’s the word for someone today who is on the verge of giving up. You’re wondering if you can make it another day. You’re looking at your life in the natural and it looks nothing like what you’ve been believing God for. You’ve been holding on to His promises and wondering “if and when” they’ll ever come to pass because to be honest, you’re just tired! Seems like what you’ve poured your blood, sweat, and tears into has gone up in smoke. Looks like you’ve been defeated. But today I have good news for you…God’s decree to you today is Pursue, Overtake, and Recover ALL! Everything the enemy stole from you or has held back from you, God is saying GO AND GET IT! You shall LIVE and not die…The VICTORY IS YOURS. God says TAKE IT BY FORCE!  It’s going to take an act of your will to RISE UP in the Spirit and encourage yourself to GET UP and GO!

Last week the Lord gave me that word…Pursue, Overtake, and Recover All after I had prayed and asked Him for reassurance. See the enemy was trying to get me to question where I was to keep me from moving forward because on the outside things in my life look pretty bleak to the natural eye. Like David in I Samuel 30, the enemy had come and stolen from me while I was honoring a commitment I made. I returned to the camp only to find that the enemy tried to take what didn’t belong to him. In the midst of tears, I encouraged myself in the Lord as David did and cried out to him for reassurance and His response to me was “Pursue, Overtake, and Recover ALL. You are on the right path. You are doing well. Stay focused and keep moving forward!”

What I took from this experience is that the enemy is relentless in his pursuit and so must we be in ours!! Even if we are in the will of God, the enemy will still come to wreak havoc. He will do whatever it takes to keep you from being all that God has called you to be and from reaching your destiny. As the lyrics in the song “Go Get Your Life Back” by Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers say…” He’s not going to give it up! We have to take it by force!” (Matthew 11:12) Nope! All the way to the end the enemy will continue his plot to kill, steal, and destroy but all praise be to God that we have VICTORY in Christ! (II Corinthians 2:14)

So, Fam, be encouraged because IT’S NOT OVER! GET YOUR FIGHT BACK! I pray this song and this message blesses you and empowers you to GO GET YOUR LIFE BACK!
